MRI Technologist - Warren, MI

Take your MRI expertise to the next level by contributing to quality patient care in a dynamic imaging department. This contract opportunity offers a structured schedule and an engaging work environment for skilled MRI Technologists who are passionate about diagnostic imaging and patient interaction.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:30 am – 9:30 pm
• Every 4th weekend: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Call: Every 6th weekend, including the possibility of after-hours weekday assignments (scheduled in advance)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with proficiency in MRI imaging procedures
• Valid ARRT (MRI) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and MRI safety standards
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic images

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire clear, accurate MRI images as ordered by physicians, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Perform equipment checks, calibration, and routine maintenance to guarantee optimal operation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for timely image interpretation and patient care
• Prepare and position patients according to established protocols, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including screening for contraindications to MRI
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

$1,790 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
