Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRI technology program
• Current certification with ARRT (MR) or equivalent
• Previous clinical experience as an MRI Technologist, demonstrating strong technical skills
• Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging best practices
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and imaging software systems
• Adaptable, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for MRI scans and thoroughly explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Operate MRI scanners, accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate imaging parameters
• Monitor images for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments to obtain optimal diagnostic results
• Adhere to established safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff from unnecessary exposure
• Maintain real-time and accurate documentation of all procedures performed
• Assist radiologists and other clinical staff as needed for advanced or specialized imaging studies
• Provide compassionate support and address patient concerns or anxieties before, during, and after procedures
