MRI Technologist in Warwick, RI

Deliver exceptional imaging care in a dynamic environment as a MRI technologist, working with state-of-the-art technology and diverse patient populations. This contract role spans 13 weeks and involves supporting ED, inpatient, and trauma imaging across both pediatric and adult populations, including contrast administration and trauma studies. Candidates should be prepared to float as needed to additional units and settings.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour night shifts, 4pm-2:30am
• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Key Qualifications:

• Active BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (CT) credential required; prior CT experience necessary
• Proficiency operating Siemens Definition AS+, GE VCT 64 Slice, and GE Signa MRI systems
• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Medrad injectors and GE PACS highly valued
• Adaptability to float to additional units, including pediatric hospital settings
• Demonstrated ability to provide imaging services across ED, inpatient, trauma, and pediatric/adult cases
• Experience with contrast administration and trauma study protocols

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive MRI imaging services in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Safely perform and document contrast administration per protocol
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and GE imaging systems for optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality studies, including urgent and trauma cases
• Maintain documentation and workflow in EPIC and GE PACS systems
• Adapt to changing priorities and unit assignments as needed

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
