MRI Technologist | Washington, Utah

An experienced MRI Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity, offering engaging, hands-on work in a collaborative healthcare environment. Schedule:

• Four 10-hour night shifts per week

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist
• Current Utah State Licensure (as required for MRI technologists in Utah)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Proficiency in MRI imaging procedures and protocols
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Properly position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
• Accurately document and maintain patient records and image files
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant imaging environment
• Educate patients on procedure expectations and address questions or concerns
