Qualifications:

  • Valid, current ARRT (MR) certification or registry eligible MRI Technologist
  • Previous experience as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures
  • Knowledge of safety procedures regarding magnetic fields
  • Strong patient communication and assessment skills
  • BLS certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images
  • Review imaging protocols and adjust techniques to obtain optimal results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate routine maintenance
  • Uphold strict safety standards for patients, staff, and self
  • Communicate professionally with radiologists and referring providers about procedures and findings
  • Support patient education regarding MRI procedures and address any questions or concerns
