Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and auxiliary equipment
  • CPR/BLS certification (must be current)
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and detail

Schedule/Hours:

  • Assignments may include weekdays, with some evenings or weekends as needed
  • Flexibility to accommodate patient schedules and urgent imaging requests

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, following all established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Review images for quality assurance before submission to radiologists
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedure records in accordance with hospital guidelines
  • Monitor equipment performance, coordinate basic maintenance, and report any malfunctions promptly
  • Facilitate clear and professional communication with physicians, nurses, and other team members
