Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (MR) or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum one year of recent MRI experience
  • Proficient in operating MRI scanners and related imaging technology
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient positioning and exam protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately document procedures and comply with safety protocols
  • Current BLS certification

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility guidelines
  • Greet and prepare patients for imaging, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns
  • Adjust and operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
  • Practice strict adherence to safety measures, including screening patients and maintaining a safe scanning environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain accurate records and support proper documentation of all imaging exams
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report any technical issues promptly
