Step into a dynamic imaging environment as a skilled MRI Technologist, delivering high-quality patient care and imaging services. This contract opportunity offers a consistent 40-hour workweek, with an afternoon to evening schedule from 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Qualifications:
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required
- Experience in MRI technology and patient imaging procedures
- Prior hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment strongly preferred; familiarity with Hitachi and Siemens is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to magnetic resonance imaging
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient-centered care
- No state radiology license necessary
Schedule:
- 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift
- 40 hours per week (guaranteed hours)
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans utilizing a fleet of 10 modern magnets, including 7 GE units, 2 Hitachi models, and 1 Siemens magnet
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the scanning process
- Adhere to established imaging protocols, quality assurance standards, and facility policies
- Accurately record and document imaging results for physician review
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members and radiologists
- Maintain equipment and promptly report any technical malfunctions
