MRI Technologist in West Hartford, CT

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist with strong Hitachi equipment expertise. This contract position offers a convenient afternoon-to-evening schedule and guarantees 35 hours per week in a supportive environment. • 3:00pm – 10:00pm
• Monday through Friday
• 35 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification (either credential is accepted)
• Professional experience operating Hitachi MRI systems is required
• No state licensure needed for this assignment
• Familiarity with routine and advanced MRI procedures and protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and adept at managing patient safety and comfort
• Effective communicator with patients and healthcare colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures on a variety of patients
• Operate and troubleshoot Hitachi MRI equipment
• Ensure patient safety and provide clear instructions throughout the imaging process
• Carefully verify and document all relevant patient and procedure data
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and other healthcare staff to maintain workflow efficiency
• Adhere to facility, safety, and infection control policies at all times
