Step into an impactful imaging role leveraging your MRI expertise, working with a dedicated radiology team providing exceptional patient care. This position involves a 13-week contract, offering the chance to utilize advanced MRI technology in a high-volume environment.
Schedule:
- Two 12-hour shifts: Saturday and Sunday
- 8:00am – 8:00pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist in a high-volume setting
- ARRT (MR) certification (required)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong technical proficiency with imaging equipment and safety procedures
- Willingness to float between multiple locations as needed
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Provide safe, compassionate care while positioning and monitoring patients throughout scans
- Collaborate with radiologists and fellow technologists to ensure image quality and patient safety
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting and reporting technical issues as necessary
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
- Accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record
- Support efficient workflow and accommodate schedule flexibility across different imaging sites
