Travel MRI Technologist | Wichita, Kansas

This position offers valuable exposure to a dynamic imaging unit operating three GE MRI units and utilizing the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system. With a daily schedule averaging 32 exams, you'll engage in fast-paced, collaborative workflows with both experienced day and night shift technologists, refining your technical skills and broadening your clinical perspective. Working in an environment with different leadership styles and patient populations provides a tremendous opportunity to grow your abilities and expand your resume.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: Collaborate with 3 MRI technologists
• Night shift: Work alongside 2 technologists

Qualifications:

• Proven skills and experience in MRI imaging
• Proficiency operating GE MRI equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech/CPN EMR systems is preferred
• Current, valid ARRT (MRI) certification
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of one year of recent MRI technologist experience in a hospital or busy imaging center

Responsibilities:

• Safely perform and complete a variety of MRI exams according to physician orders
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation using Meditech/CPN
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care and imaging services
• Troubleshoot equipment and assist with routine maintenance as needed
• Uphold high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
