Utilize your MRI expertise in a dynamic hospital setting where your skills contribute to high-quality patient care. This position is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist comfortable working in both orthopedic and general hospital environments.

Schedule:

  • Thursday: 10:30am-11:00pm (Orthopedic Hospital)
  • Friday: 10:30am-11:00pm (Orthopedic Hospital)
  • Saturday: 6:30pm-7:00am (Main Facility)
  • 3x12 hour shifts, days
  • 13-week assignment with no on-call requirement

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
  • Proven hands-on experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of imaging safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptability to various procedures and patient populations, particularly within orthopedic care settings

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Operate MRI scanners and optimize imaging parameters based on individual cases
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver accurate imaging results
  • Maintain thorough documentation of scans and patient interactions in compliance with hospital standards
  • Monitor and manage equipment function; report issues and ensure proper maintenance
  • Follow strict protocols for patient screening and care, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
