Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
  • At least one year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients of all ages
  • Familiarity with digital imaging and electronic health records
  • BLS certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with physician protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each imaging procedure
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal results
  • Review images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality before transmitting to radiologists
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging suites, equipment, and supplies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and support staff for seamless workflow and best patient outcomes
  • Document procedures and patient information in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Stay current with advances in MRI technology and best practices
