Step into a vital role as an MRI Technologist providing critical imaging services in a busy and well-equipped medical setting. This position begins as soon as possible and offers an overnight shift, perfect for those who thrive in a quiet, focused work environment. The assignment is 13 weeks in duration.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (overnight shift)
  • 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT (R)(MR) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in MRI technology.
  • Applicants may submit with a pending VA license but must verify application and follow temporary licensing procedures.
  • Experience with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T MRI scanners is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician instructions.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the Siemens and GE MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Administer patient care with attention to comfort, safety, and needs throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using EPIC (Radiology MT Online on unit).
  • Follow proper infection prevention protocols and ensure timely compliance with vaccine requirements, including annual flu vaccination during flu season.
  • Adhere to professional dress standards—grey scrubs required.
