MRI Tech in Woodbridge, VA

Step into an essential diagnostic imaging role that makes a difference every night. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced MRI technologist skilled in advanced imaging and eager to contribute to a high-performing healthcare facility.

Schedule:

• 10:00 pm – 6:30 am, Monday through Friday (overnight shift)
• 13-week engagement

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (R)(MR) certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent MRI technologist experience
• Ability to apply for and verify a valid Virginia state license (pending applications accepted if you follow the temporary licensing process)
• Experience operating Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T MRI systems
• Comfortable with EPIC electronic medical records: Radiology MT online module proficiency
• Willingness to wear grey scrubs as mandated by facility uniform policy
• Compliance with vaccine requirements, especially annual flu vaccination or an approved exemption (Oct 1–Mar 31)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using state-of-the-art equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Accurately input patient data into the EPIC EMR system for radiology
• Collaborate effectively with night shift clinical teams
• Maintain clean, well-prepared work areas and readily available equipment
