Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as an MRI Technician in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI physics, protocols, and safety standards
  • Proficiency with operating MRI scanners and related imaging software
  • Excellent patient care and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to perform high-quality scans as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients according to protocol, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Screen patients thoroughly for contraindications and explain MRI procedures
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection-control protocols
  • Accurately document and maintain imaging records
  • Communicate critical findings to radiologists and referring physicians
  • Manage equipment upkeep and report any malfunctions promptly
  • Provide emotional support and clear instructions to patients throughout the procedure

$1,782 - $1,950/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
