Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: Evenings, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends included
Qualifications:
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI or ARMRIT credentials required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience with Siemens MRI equipment, specifically Siemens Aera 1.5T
- Advanced knowledge in neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI preferred
- Demonstrated competency scanning patients with multiple implanted medical devices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Operate Siemens MRI systems efficiently, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the diagnostic needs are met with precision and efficiency
- Accurately document and communicate technical findings and maintain comprehensive patient records
- Adapt to complex imaging requirements, particularly for neuro, body, angiography, and MSK studies
- Safely manage challenging cases involving patients with various implanted devices
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of the imaging team
