Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to all screening protocols.
• Review physician orders, select appropriate imaging techniques, and adjust scanner parameters to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patients during exams and communicate instructions clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging results per facility standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate timely diagnosis and optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, including those related to patient privacy and MRI safety zones.
• Participate in equipment calibration, routine maintenance, and quality assurance procedures.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or an equivalent credential.
• Active and unrestricted MRI technologist license as required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing MRI scans with a variety of protocols and equipment.
