Qualifications:

• ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credential required
• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
• Demonstrated experience as an MRI Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficient in MRI imaging techniques, protocols, and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and image archiving systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment according to prescribed standards
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns
• Position patients safely and accurately for each exam
• Monitor patients during imaging to ensure well-being and data quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility guidelines
• Adhere to all safety protocols regarding equipment use and infection control
