Seeking a skilled professional to deliver comprehensive nutrition care and multi-modality imaging support in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers flexible scheduling, with options for four 10-hour shifts, five 8-hour shifts, or a combination, and flexibility in shift start and end times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time experience (within the past 5 years) as a Registered Dietitian in acute care, nursing home, or inpatient rehab/LTACH settings; less recent full-time experience (within the past 8 years) may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Proven training in completion of Nutrition-Focused Physical Exam (NFPE).
  • Background in enteral and parenteral nutrition required.
  • Preferred experience in ICU.
  • Experience must be clearly listed in acute care, nursing home, or inpatient rehab/LTACH settings.
  • Skilled as an Imaging - Multi Modality Tech.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a nutrition consultant and invaluable resource to healthcare team members.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using clinical and patient data.
  • Formulate and implement individualized care plans, including nutrition diagnosis and intervention.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care as necessary, ensuring optimal food consistencies and intake.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, acting as a consultant and addressing unique nutritional cases.
  • Educate patients and their families on nutrition, special diets, and post-discharge care.
  • Prepare and deliver educational seminars and contribute to community nutrition programs.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in medical records.
  • Supervise and mentor dietetic interns and students.
  • Liaise with culinary wellness teams to address patient and staff nutrition needs.
  • Engage in professional development and organizational education activities.

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
