Qualifications:
- Certification and/or licensure as a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist (proficient in at least two imaging disciplines such as X-ray, CT, MRI, or Ultrasound)
- Registered Dietitian credentials with up-to-date licensing.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of imaging technology, patient positioning, and safety protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of nutritional assessment, medical nutrition therapy, and patient counseling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform scheduled diagnostic procedures ensuring patient safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to interpret imaging results and further patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments; develop and document individualized diet plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about healthy eating habits, special diets, and nutritional therapies.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust nutrition plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records, adhering to privacy and compliance standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
