Step into a dynamic leadership opportunity as an Imaging Supervisor at a prestigious teaching hospital renowned for its high-acuity, Level I Trauma and Pediatric Trauma services. You’ll be instrumental in guiding a talented radiology team within a cutting-edge department, ensuring exceptional patient care across a wide spectrum of adult and pediatric cases.
Schedule:
- 12-hour Day Shifts, 36 hours per week (6:30am – 7:00pm)
- Weekend position; every weekend required
- No on-call or call-back duties
- Work holidays only if they fall on your regular shift
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care radiology experience (trauma facility—Level I experience highly preferred)
- At least 1 year in a radiology leadership role (Lead Tech, Supervisor, Manager, or Director)
- ARRT(R) credentialing and current BLS certification
- Experience in general x-ray, trauma imaging, portable radiography, C-arm operation (O-arm preferred), and EPIC EMR
- Strong communication skills, confidence in clinical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee departmental workflow, adjusting schedules and supporting a multidisciplinary team in real time
- Foster positive team dynamics by coaching and onboarding new staff, escalating issues appropriately
- Maintain high standards of patient care in trauma, surgical, and general radiology, supporting residents and fellows
- Communicate fluidly with physicians and leadership, promoting best practices throughout the weekend shifts
- Manage supervisor duties, staff schedules, and coordinate with other leaders as needed
