Supervisor Multimodality Technologist in Huntersville, NC

Lead a dynamic imaging team in a high-acuity hospital environment, overseeing radiology services for both adult and pediatric populations in a renowned teaching and trauma center. As Imaging Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting a skilled group of technologists and ensuring exceptional patient care during busy weekend day shifts.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (6:30 am – 7:00 pm)
• 36 hours/week, weekend position (work all weekends)
• 13-week contract duration
• No on-call or callback duties
• Holiday shifts only if scheduled

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of acute care radiology experience; Level I trauma experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of radiology leadership (Lead Tech, Supervisor, Manager or Director)
• BLS and ARRT-R credentials required
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system
• Confident clinical skills in general x-ray across trauma, OR (spinal, ortho, neuro, peds), C-arm use (O-arm preferred)
• Strong supervisory skills: staff scheduling, real-time adjustment, onboarding, staff coaching, and communication with both staff and physicians
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; effective communicator and team player
• Teaching-minded: willing to precept students if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily workflow and team operations in the Main Radiology department, with additional coverage in ED and OR as needed
• Carry supervisor phone, address staffing needs and clinical escalations, and work collaboratively with other leaders
• Directly assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing competency of technologists
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, quality, and safety standards
• Support a strong culture of teamwork, high clinical standards, and continuous learning in a teaching hospital environment
