Supervisor Multimodality Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Excel in a dynamic, high-acuity radiology environment as an Imaging Supervisor overseeing multi-modality imaging and X-ray services. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of advanced patient care in a teaching-focused setting, caring for a diverse patient population from neonates to adults, including trauma and high-acuity emergencies. As the Imaging Supervisor, step into a hands-on leadership position where you’ll coordinate team schedules, provide real-time support, mentor staff, and partner with physician leaders.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour Day Shifts: 6:30am – 7:00pm
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend position: all weekends required
• No on-call or call-back duties
• Holidays worked if on your scheduled shift

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• ARRT-R certification and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years in acute-care radiology (trauma facility experience highly preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in radiology leadership (Lead Tech, Supervisor, Manager, or Director roles accepted)
• Proficiency in general X-ray, portable/bedside imaging, C-arm operation (O-arm preferred), and EPIC EMR
• Trauma, surgery (spine, ortho, neuro, peds), and high-volume imaging experience
• Effective communicator, adept at leading in fast-paced environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Will consider first-time contract professionals with strong trauma background

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a weekend radiology team in a level I trauma and teaching hospital
• Adapt and adjust tech schedules, manage supervisor phone, and assist with onboarding
• Mentor and coach staff members, supporting student technologists as needed
• Provide direct clinical expertise across radiology modalities and coordinate resources between main department, ED, and OR areas
• Serve as an escalation point for operational issues while fostering strong teamwork and clinical standards

$1,790 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
