Embark on an impactful opportunity specializing in Nuclear Medicine imaging within a supportive healthcare environment. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality nuclear medicine studies and supporting patient care through diagnostic imaging expertise.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
  • On Call and Call Back: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 pm
  • No weekend rotation required
  • Holiday coverage only if a holiday falls on your scheduled shift

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT, ARRT-N, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated skill in a clinical nuclear medicine setting, including imaging procedures and patient care
  • Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment, safety protocols, and radiopharmaceutical handling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective patient and team interactions
  • Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor patient well-being and provide clear instructions before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain accurate records, document results, and support quality assurance efforts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective diagnostic processes
  • Respond to on call and call back duties as scheduled
