Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a dynamic assignment specializing in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging equipment and contribute to high-quality patient care across two California locations.
Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 10-hour shifts in Santa Cruz, CA
- Saturday: 10-hour shift in Fairfield, CA
- Off Days: Thursday, Friday, and Sunday
Qualifications:
- Valid NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification
- Current state of California nuclear medicine technologist license (required)
- Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex imaging protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple facility environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
- Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging equipment with precision and safety
- Ensure accurate imaging and proper patient positioning for highest diagnostic quality
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring safety
- Maintain accurate records according to regulatory guidelines and facility policies
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to review imaging results and support patient diagnosis
