Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a dynamic assignment specializing in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging equipment and contribute to high-quality patient care across two California locations.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 10-hour shifts in Santa Cruz, CA
  • Saturday: 10-hour shift in Fairfield, CA
  • Off Days: Thursday, Friday, and Sunday

Qualifications:

  • Valid NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification
  • Current state of California nuclear medicine technologist license (required)
  • Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex imaging protocols
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple facility environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
  • Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging equipment with precision and safety
  • Ensure accurate imaging and proper patient positioning for highest diagnostic quality
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring safety
  • Maintain accurate records according to regulatory guidelines and facility policies
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to review imaging results and support patient diagnosis
