Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT(N) or NMTCB)
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine Imaging experience preferred
  • Proficient in operating SPECT, PET, and gamma cameras
  • Comprehensive knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and safety protocols
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in line with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely to patients
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently, ensuring high-quality image acquisition and patient comfort
  • Maintain clear and accurate patient records, documenting procedures, images, and any relevant clinical information
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including radiation safety practices and infection control policies
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, expectations, and post-procedure care as needed
