Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Athens, Georgia

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Competency in nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Registered/Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in imaging
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging studies utilizing state-of-the-art equipment
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process
• Maintain meticulous records, including patient information and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, infection control policies, and safety guidelines
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace
