Step into a vital role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where your expertise will support a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatric individuals. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art imaging systems and specialized equipment in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • Day shifts: 4x10-hour (06:00 - 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Call rotation: One week (7 days) per month, weekdays after shift until 23:00, weekends 07:00–23:00
  • Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
  • Holiday coverage as outlined; flexibility during major holidays is essential
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ Nuclear Medicine experience; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT-R and NMTCB credentials required
  • Proficient in use of: Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 (PACS), AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, Bicron 2000 survey meters, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo systems, and Epic EMR
  • Adaptable to patient needs across age spectrums

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging as ordered, ensuring precise technique and patient safety
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and associated software
  • Accurately document and communicate findings in Epic and PACS systems
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and compliance requirements to support quality care
