Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | Atlanta, Georgia

Advance your professional experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a highly valued contract role supporting a dynamic imaging department. This opportunity focuses on delivering specialized imaging services to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The work environment is fast-paced, utilizing cutting-edge technology for high-quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour day shifts (06:00 – 17:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating call: Weekdays (shift end to 23:00), weekends (07:00–23:00); call assigned one week per month
• Holiday coverage required as per assignment schedule

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant nuclear medicine experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Valid certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, and NMTCB
• Familiarity with imaging equipment and processes: Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, and Bicron 2000 survey meters
• Proficient with PACS, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia Evo
• Experience documenting in Epic EMR system
• Able to float within facility and scope as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine studies and related diagnostic procedures for adolescent through geriatric patients
• Ensure quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and adhering to strict protocols
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals
• Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and orientation requirements
• Wear assigned dark grey scrubs
