Advance your career in nuclear medicine imaging with a dynamic opportunity in a hospital setting, providing care to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week (06:00 – 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call responsibility one week per month (M-F: end of shift to 23:00; weekends: 07:00-23:00)
  • Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Holiday coverage per assignment guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience; first-time travelers not permitted
  • Valid BLS, ARRT-R, and NMTCB certifications required
  • Proficiency in using Xceleris processing, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C survey meter, and Bicron 2000 survey meter
  • Deep familiarity with EPIC, PACS, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia Evo systems
  • Ability to adhere to dark grey scrub requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure proficient operation and maintenance of specialized nuclear medicine equipment
  • Accurately document and upload patient data using hospital information systems
  • Deliver compassionate, safe care while monitoring for patient safety and comfort
  • Participate in on-call rotation and assist as needed within the facility’s practice scope
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, including orientation and holiday assignment requirements
