Serving as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in this travel position offers exposure to some of the leading imaging practices in healthcare today. You’ll work alongside experienced teams, expanding your professional skillset and gaining direct experience with a broad spectrum of procedures and state-of-the-art technology. This assignment not only strengthens your expertise in both General Nuclear Medicine and PET, but also adds value to your resume by showcasing adaptability, technical proficiency, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Proficient in General Nuclear Medicine and PET modalities
- Ability to float between Nuclear Medicine and PET as needed
- Experience in handling patient reminder calls
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform 10+ nuclear medicine and 12-14 PET/CT studies daily
- Independently conduct a variety of procedures including WB bone scans, lung scans, thyroid studies, Datscan brain scans, FDG PET, and more
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for direct and indirect patient care
- Maintain equipment and ensure high standards of imaging quality and patient safety
