Schedule:

  • Day shifts, 5x8 hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • ARRT Nuclear Medicine (ARRT N) or Radiography (ARRT R) credential required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proven skills in nuclear medicine techniques and procedures
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging studies based on physician orders
  • Operate PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras, ensuring precise and quality imaging
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to best practice and safety protocols
  • Monitor patient status and comfort throughout procedures, addressing concerns promptly
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other members of the care team for optimal results
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, report malfunctions as needed
  • Keep current with continuing education and certifications to uphold professional standards
