This Nuclear Medicine Imaging role delivers opportunities to collaborate within diverse teams and work under various leadership styles. With exposure to multiple imaging studies including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying, you’ll broaden your clinical expertise while familiarizing yourself with unique departmental practices and protocols. Coverage extends across two local campuses, giving you the chance to adapt to different care environments and integrate emerging approaches, such as working on GE equipment and engaging with Radnet & Merge Unity platforms.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule/Hours: 8-hour day shifts, with rotating after-hours calls, weekends, and holidays
- Department has one scanner/room and a supportive Lead Tech
- Scrub color: Teal; scrubs provided
- Average 5-10 scans/daily; no IV starts required
- May float to an additional campus approx. 6.5 miles away
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Current BLS certification
- California NMTL credential
- Comfort with cardiac and general nuclear studies
- Experience using GE equipment, and familiar with Radnet & Merge Unity systems
- Strong teamwork and patient care focus
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures following departmental protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation within EMR/PACS
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff
- Rotate on-call duties and maintain flexibility in work location
