Responsibilities:

• Execute high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures, strictly adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Administer and monitor radiation treatments as prescribed, calibrating therapy equipment with precision.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and refine patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, radiation safety, and aftercare requirements.
• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of all imaging and therapy sessions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT or NMTCB certification (or eligible)
• Licensed, or ability to obtain licensure, as a Radiation Therapist and Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New York State
• Recent experience in nuclear medicine and radiation therapy, preferably in a hospital or acute care environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
• Proficiency with EMR systems and imaging technology
