Step into a vital position performing advanced imaging procedures as a Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist. Work alongside a skilled radiology team using cutting-edge GE Omni equipment for a 13-week contract. Your dual certification and expertise will enhance patient diagnostics while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Schedule:

  • 4x10 hour day shifts per week

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with GE Omni and other GE imaging systems
  • Dual certification required:
    • NMTCB or ARRT(N) and
    • ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
  • New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology are mandatory
  • Prior experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging environment is strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiopharmaceutical handling

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures according to physician orders and protocols
  • Operate state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment, ensuring proper use and care
  • Safely administer and track radiopharmaceuticals with meticulous attention to patient safety
  • Capture diagnostic-quality images while prioritizing patient comfort and communication
  • Accurately complete all documentation and assist in maintaining regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with radiologic technologists, nurses, and physicians for optimal workflow and patient care
