Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Ballston Spa, NY

A skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract working with advanced imaging technology. Utilize your expertise and certification to provide high-quality diagnostic services using a GE Omnipet CT unit.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10’s, days)

Key Qualifications:

• Experience with GE imaging systems required (specifically GE Omni equipment)
• Dual certification: Must have one of the following combinations:
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N)
    AND
  • ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
• Current licensure from the State of New York in both Nuclear Medicine AND Radiology
• Solid experience with CT/PET imaging protocols and nuclear medicine procedures
• Commitment to accuracy, patient comfort, and high safety standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology, following physician instructions
• Operate GE Omni and related imaging equipment efficiently and safely
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed for imaging studies
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of imaging results
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, safety, and infection control standards
• Offer compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures
• Support workflow collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
