Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Basking Ridge, New Jersey

A skilled professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine is sought for a contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work a steady weekday schedule—no call and no weekends required. The commitment extends over 13 weeks, providing valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (8:00am – 4:00pm)
• Monday through Friday
• No call coverage, no weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS certification
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine
• Possession of New Jersey State License for Nuclear Medicine
• Preferred: Experience performing general nuclear medicine procedures such as bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to carry out diagnostic procedures
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety guidelines
• Support physicians in interpreting scan results and ensuring quality imaging
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Adhere to departmental protocols and uphold the highest standards of patient care
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
