Nuclear Medicine Tech - Belmont, New Hampshire

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong independent skills and expertise in Nuclear Medicine procedures. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient and comfortable managing day-to-day functions in the Nuclear Medicine Department with guidance available as needed. This contract position is well-suited for someone seeking a structured schedule with no on-call duties.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Four 9-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Fridays off

Qualifications:

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with demonstrated competency in solo work environments
• Proficient in monthly Quality Control (QC) procedures, Leak Tests, and participation in Quarterly RSO meetings
• Strong skills in performing Nuclear Medicine Stress Tests and general NM studies
• Familiarity with Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard Nuclear Medicine equipment
• Additional experience in CT is highly preferred to allow cross-coverage as NM volume fluctuates
• Ability to thrive with a lower procedural volume and independently manage department workflow

Key Duties:

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including 3-4 NM Stress Tests and 1-2 general NM studies weekly
• Maintain and monitor equipment, ensuring proper QC and safety protocols are followed
• Complete documentation and communicate results as appropriate
• Support and participate in regulatory safety and compliance meetings
• Optionally assist or cross-cover CT modalities as needed
