Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Valid ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
• State licensure (if applicable)
• Previous experience in a clinical imaging environment preferred
• Proficient in nuclear medicine equipment operation, including SPECT and PET imaging systems
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring compliance with physician orders and safety regulations
• Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Calibrate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment according to quality standards
• Accurately acquire patient images and assist in interpreting study results
• Document procedures and maintain patient records following regulatory guidelines
• Provide patient education prior to, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
