Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Bessemer, AL

A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in general Nuclear Medicine procedures. This role focuses exclusively on diagnostic imaging using nuclear medicine techniques, with no PET/CT responsibilities. You’ll be part of an experienced imaging team supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• No nights, weekends, or on-call required

Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility if required by state regulations
• Strong knowledge of general nuclear medicine protocols and equipment
• Detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general nuclear medicine imaging studies under established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict adherence to safety procedures
