A Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) with specialized experience in nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET imaging is needed for a travel position in Biddeford, ME. This role offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule with no call and no weekend work, providing a stable and balanced workweek. You will work alongside full-time staff in a supportive team setting, utilizing Siemens equipment and operating within a large 700-bed hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures including nuclear cardiac and oncology PET studies
- Float between inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine services, providing flexible coverage
- Ensure patient-centered care with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Utilize Siemens imaging technology and maintain accurate documentation in Epic and NMISH EMR systems
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize imaging services
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general nuclear medicine, with preferred expertise in nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET imaging
- Valid CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and appropriate state licensure
- Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient imaging locations smoothly
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality patient care
- Comfortable adhering to a professional dress code, including wearing scrubs without logos and closed-toe shoes
Location Insight: This position is primarily based near Portland, Maine, with outpatient imaging services located approximately 10 minutes away in Scarborough.
