Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
- Experience operating a variety of imaging modalities relevant to nuclear medicine
- Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Attention to detail and proficiency in documenting patient information and imaging results
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours; specific shifts or scheduling will be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required for imaging procedures
- Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies, following clinical guidelines
- Maintain precise documentation for patient records, equipment logs, and quality control measures
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are strictly adhered to within the imaging suite
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Assist in training and orienting new staff as needed
