Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Boca Raton, Florida

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity requiring strong skills in both PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging. This vital role involves providing quality diagnostic services to patients, collaborating with a team of professionals, and ensuring excellence in imaging procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Schedule may be adjusted as needed by site leader; no on-call required)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in PET/CT and nuclear medicine
• Required Florida State License CRT in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT NMTCB)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC_Tech ARRT), Registered Technologist in CT (RTCT ARRT), MRI (RTMR ARRT), and/or Radiography (RTR ARRT)
• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education-approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Required ARRT or NMTCB certification; ARRT registration in one of the following: RT(R), RT(CT), or RT(MR)
• All relevant certifications, as well as a college diploma or transcripts, must be included in your application profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures following established protocols
• Review physician orders and patient history to ensure accurate procedure selection
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate records of each procedure
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and quality controls to maintain accreditation standards
