Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Bridgewater, Virginia

A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity. This vital role focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging through a range of nuclear medicine procedures. You'll be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing advanced technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
• Experience with a variety of imaging equipment and protocols in nuclear medicine
• Ability to perform and analyze imaging studies with precision and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare teams
• Thorough knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, followed by monitoring patient reactions
• Capture, process, and evaluate images ensuring the highest diagnostic quality
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure adherence to documentation standards
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements for handling radiological materials
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

Schedule:

• 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts)
