Your expertise in nuclear medicine will support physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions using state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current certification by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Valid and active state license in Nuclear Medicine Technology (if applicable)
  • Proven experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment (including PET/CT, SPECT)
  • Proficiency in administering radioactive pharmaceuticals and conducting imaging procedures
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to radiation and hazardous materials
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
  • Monitor patient condition and ensure comfort and safety during imaging procedures
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment following manufacturer and facility guidelines
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and maintain thorough records
  • Adhere to facility protocols and state/federal regulations for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers on procedure outcomes and best practices
