Experienced professionals in Nuclear Medicine Imaging are needed for a contract opportunity focused on providing advanced diagnostic services. This position emphasizes the use of state-of-the-art technology and compassionate patient care to support critical medical decisions.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- 6.75 shifts per biweekly pay period
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT(N)) required
- Valid state license as required by regulatory standards
- Proven experience performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety practices, and compliance guidelines
- Competency in the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine and imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging according to physician orders
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality scans for physician interpretation
- Assess patient conditions and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols in handling radioactive materials and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
