Experienced professionals in Nuclear Medicine Imaging are needed for a contract opportunity focused on providing advanced diagnostic services. This position emphasizes the use of state-of-the-art technology and compassionate patient care to support critical medical decisions.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 6.75 shifts per biweekly pay period

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT(N)) required
  • Valid state license as required by regulatory standards
  • Proven experience performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety practices, and compliance guidelines
  • Competency in the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine and imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging according to physician orders
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality scans for physician interpretation
  • Assess patient conditions and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures
  • Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Adhere to safety protocols in handling radioactive materials and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
