Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N required)
• Demonstrated experience in acquiring and processing nuclear medicine images for diagnostic purposes
• Proficiency in handling and preparing radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety regulations
• Familiarity with a variety of nuclear medicine equipment and imaging protocols
• Knowledge of patient preparation and post-procedure instructions tailored for nuclear medicine studies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and collaborating with medical staff
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Compliance with state licensure and regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment, observing all radiation safety standards
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, monitoring and recording patient reactions
• Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate and timely imaging interpretations
• Provide compassionate care and clear explanations to patients throughout each procedure
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all infection control policies
