Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures following physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Accurately capture and interpret images, collaborating with radiologists and referring providers for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation within electronic health records.
- Follow safety and infection control procedures to protect patients and coworkers.
- Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients throughout imaging processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
