A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services as part of a dynamic imaging department. This contract assignment is a valuable opportunity to utilize advanced nuclear medicine and CT technology, supporting patient care across multiple sites.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week

Assignment Duration:

  • 13 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
  • NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification preferred
  • Current NYS license for Nuclear Medicine and CT
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • Proficiency operating modern imaging equipment; experience with GE Discovery IQ strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of nuclear medicine and PET/CT protocols
  • Previous clinical experience functioning as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine scans, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy
  • Operate GE Discovery IQ and maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition
  • Follow safety protocols for handling, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals
  • Accurately document patient histories, imaging records, and procedure details
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, other team members, and patients
  • Rotate as needed between facilities to provide imaging support
  • Adhere to established standards for patient privacy and confidentiality

$4,128 - $4,352/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
