Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Cedartown, GA

Step into a vital role supporting advanced diagnostic services as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity offers a balanced weekday schedule and the chance to contribute your expertise in imaging alongside a dedicated care team.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
• On-call and call back coverage Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm
• No weekend rotation
• Holiday shifts required if your regular shift falls on a holiday
• No floating to other departments required

Key Qualifications:

• Certification and/or registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Previous experience performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures
• Up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols in handling radiopharmaceuticals
• Ability to complete imaging studies independently with accuracy and efficiency
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to manage periodic on-call duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures
• Operate a variety of imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images used in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Document and log imaging results according to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and privacy standards
