Schedule:

  • Mondays at Sutter Tracy – 10-hour shifts
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at Mercy Merced – 10-hour shifts each day

This position begins as soon as possible and is an 8-week contract with the potential to extend, offering consistency and the opportunity to gain experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols
  • Ability to adapt to multiple facility settings
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills
  • Experience with current imaging equipment and radiation safety practices

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient and staff safety
  • Accurately document patient histories and imaging results in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control standards
  • Ensure compassionate, patient-focused care throughout each procedure
