Schedule:
- Mondays at Sutter Tracy – 10-hour shifts
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at Mercy Merced – 10-hour shifts each day
This position begins as soon as possible and is an 8-week contract with the potential to extend, offering consistency and the opportunity to gain experience across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols
- Ability to adapt to multiple facility settings
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills
- Experience with current imaging equipment and radiation safety practices
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient and staff safety
- Accurately document patient histories and imaging results in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Ensure compassionate, patient-focused care throughout each procedure
