Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Experience performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET, SPECT, and cardiac studies
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment, following safety protocols, and maintaining radiopharmaceutical handling standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with clinical teams
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Schedule:
- Full-time hours with rotating shifts may be required depending on facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and protocols
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently for high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing clear instructions and emotional support
- Maintain meticulous records of procedures and patient information in accordance with regulatory standards
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety measures and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with radiology staff and physicians, contributing to accurate diagnosis and patient treatment planning
- Participate in continuing education and in-services as required during the contract

$2,372 - $2,509/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
