Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
• Current state licensure (if required)
• Demonstrated experience in nuclear medicine imaging procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS a plus
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images
• Assess image quality and ensure accurate documentation for each patient
• Follow safety guidelines for patients and staff regarding radiation exposure
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient procedures
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, inventory, and quality control
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures
